History and development

Initially designed as a refuge for exotic birds, Beauval ZooParc quickly evolved to include a wider variety of species. In the 1990s, the park expanded with innovative habitats for large mammals and wild animals. The birth of the first panda in France, at Beauval Zoo in 2017, marked a historic turning point and confirmed its position as a leader in the conservation of rare and endangered species.

The African savannah

One of Beauval's highlights is its African savannah, where giraffes, rhinos, and zebras live together in a vast open space. This area allows visitors to feel as if they are in the heart of Africa, observing the natural behavior of these majestic animals up close.

The tropical greenhouse

Beauval's tropical greenhouse, one of the largest in France, is home to an impressive collection of flora and fauna. This giant dome is a refuge for many rare species such as orangutans and alligators, and provides an ideal climate for exotic vegetation, creating a dense jungle atmosphere.

The Land of Lions

Recently inaugurated, the Land of Lions is a space dedicated to the kings of the savannah. Visitors can admire the lions in an environment that replicates their natural habitat, enhanced by an immersive glass system that allows for impressive proximity.
